Ps...

Best part about going places during this week? Unless you’re at a bar, it’s empty because everyone is watching the Phillies/Yankees game. Here’s hoping it’s DEAD at creamy acres tonight and we don’t have to wait in line. Get it? ;-) Boo!

Oh tumblr? I forgot about ya.

Sorry people. I haven’t made a post in a whiles. But nothing is new in my life, hence the lack of updates. Though I am collecting stories for my book on working a shitty waitressing job, suffering from post-grad lack of real job-ness, and surviving living with parents long after you’ve outstayed a welcome.

While a lot of drama occurs at my work, please note: one of our employees is a member of the red hat society. HOW COOL is that?! Really. Maybe I’m more excited than I should be.

Tonight I’m going to the NIGHT OF TERROR at Creamy Acres in Mullica Hill. Totally excited, but while I LOVE horror movies, I’m a total baby at this stuff. I laugh at it all, but it sticks in the back of my head and freaks me out. I think it all stems back to when I was a wee child and Dad made me watch Night of the Living Dead. As if that wasn’t terrifying enough, while tucking me into bed proceeded to say “THEY’RE COMING TO GET YOU BARBARA!” How precious. And then again, I snuck into the living room to watch parts of Pet Semetary, unnoticed by my mother, and couldn’t sleep in my own bed or pet my cats for weeks. And the final event that scarred me was when Dad took me to the local haunted house sponsored by my elementary school. I lasted about one whole minute until the Bride of Frankenstein came up to me with a toaster and I lost my mind. A toaster, of all objects. Who knew?

So we’ll see how tonight goes. Maybe I won’t get mauled by a guy with a chainsaw or hacked to bits while combing my hair in my bedroom.
