The week begins.
Well the weekend flew by, and here I am, embarking on a week full of…….nothing.
Last night I sat on the couch, drinking glasses of wine and knitting, while watching Deliverance. Why? Why not? And I had this urge to go into work. “It’s 10pm, I should be getting ready.”
But alas, I continued to sit, and by 11:30pm, the start of my former shift, I was snoozing in bed.
...
No job Saturday.
Well, this is the first weekend of being unemployed. How righteous. I set up my Etsy seller’s account so I can make stuff and people can buy it. Hopefully. Haha.
Friday was spent with former co-worker/current friend Jamie. We drove over to the bank to get our severance papers notarized. Hot diggity.
We then drove around, trying to think of what’s next, what we should do, etc. and...

Soooo I don’t have to worry about feeling trapped at work BECAUSE yesterday at 6am, my entire shift, including my boss, got laid off. The big heads explained that it had nothing to do with us watching movies in the conference room, talking good music for hours at a time, e-mailing funny cat pictures, or taking naps on the couches, but rather it was...
real world status.
Since July, I have been working nightshift.
What does that mean?
I feel all f’d up, all the time, and on weekends I don’t stop running. I miss life all week long, so I try to make up for it on Friday and Saturday nights. During the week, I sleep all day, I wake up, eat dinner, watching dumb television (i.e. wild teenagers or fat people), and go to work. No quizzo. No shopping....
