What a dreary day. Perfect for studying for the GREs, right? Or saying I’m going to study for them but actually just read other books, watch The Price is Right, drink coffee and sit around. I love being lazy sometimes.
Yesterday was GORGEOUS. I rode my cute new bike down to the library, got comfy by the window with my laptop, and applied for 30+ jobs. Certainly qualified for them, but who knows if they’ll even call me back. Now we play the waiting game.
AND I cooked a delicious dish of eggplant parm, all by myself for Scott and I. I could not believe it actually came out well AND I didn’t burn the house down. Totally surprised myself.
I called out of my baby shift of 5-9 because tonight I have orientation for volunteering at the SPCA. VERY excited to start lending a hand there and taking care of animals. I guess it’s something I should have signed up for about a year ago, but hey, better late then never. Can’t wait!
